Inspection
As a homeowner, If you think you are experiencing Moisture Intrusion issues, or are contemplating buying or selling a home, our Inspection Services will help guide you through the process. Our detailed Inspection reports will help you to evaluate all of your options so that you can make the best decision possible.
Our certified inspectors will inspect your residence using a variety of methods, including but not limited to the use of Thermal Imaging and/or the use of other invasive and non-invasive procedures. Understanding building science and its effect upon the building envelope are key to establishing a solid base for remediation repairs and prolonging the longevity of your new cladding. Upon completion of your Inspection, we will be able to help you understand the findings and discuss the level of repair that is required to address all of the issues discovered. The inspection results provide a detailed scope of work, for what exactly needs to be done, and how it should be addressed, so that you never have to pay for something that is not warranted.
If you are thinking of selling your home, the best way to eliminate any last minute surprises that may hold up the process is to arrange for a moisture inspection ahead of time. This will allow ample time to correct any problems beforehand.
Likewise, if you are thinking of purchasing a home, it is essential that you ask for a moisture inspection to catalog any deficiencies to the stucco system of the home that you are purchasing. A regular home inspection on its own merit is simply not enough, due to the extensive code revisions that have taken place in the last decade, specific to Stucco.
All of our Inspectors are certified by the Exterior Design Institute (EDI) and/or Moisture Warranty Corporation (MWC), and the International Association of Certified Thermographers (IACT).
